Commitment to Safety
Safety is Maritime Launch’s top priority. We are committed to implementing the highest standards of safety for our team and the surrounding communities.
Our Director of Safety was Maritime Launch’s first hire and it is a key position that will support the design, construction and operations of Spaceport Nova Scotia.
From construction to transporting our first satellite into space, safety is woven into everything we do.
Maritime Launch is committed to being stewards of the environment and proactive in our efforts to be sustainable and minimize our footprint.
In June 2019, the Minister of Environment approved Spaceport Nova Scotia in accordance with Section 40 of the Nova Scotia Environment Act pursuant to a number of conditions. As we progress with the development, we are working closely with the Nova Scotia government to satisfy the conditions of our environmental assessment approval.
